If I want a stand-alone theater, what size space do 
I really need?
Typically, the smallest areas that we prefer to undertake are 
15 x 20 feet. The larger the dedicated space, then the bigger and more elaborate the possibilities.

Does Cinema Moods only do large cinema rooms?
Even though the majority of our work involves the extensive design of single purpose cinema environments, we also undertake the more straight forward "family room makeovers" as well.

Who supplies the electronics and its installation for 
our theaters?
CM handles all of the steps throughout the design and construction process, except the electronics. We have solid-working relationships with several of the top custom electronic installation companies in the country and on a regular basis jointly collaborate with them on custom theater projects.

How does the process work if CM does not install 
the electronics?
Actually, it makes it much easier for our clients in the long run because CM facilitates as the overall project manager. When there are other contractors present, for example the electronics dealer or the builder/architect, then we can supervise the entire process for that room to insure a consistency of design for our client. We attend all the traditional electronic and installation trade shows (CEDIA, CES, and NAB) to keep apprised on all the latest hardware, installation, and design breakthroughs. This allows us to work intelligently alongside our custom electronic install colleagues by making the joint collaboration a seamless and successful project that achieves the goals of our clients.

What if I already have an interior designer that 
I regularly use?
Our services revolve around the very specialized design process that needs to occur to achieve a unique cinematic environment. We do however; have the flexibility to jointly collaborate with your existing interior designer, who might be currently handling other areas of your house, especially in situations of new construction and/or complete remodels. It's extremely important to us that your personal cinema blends well with the existing and/or planned theme of your entire residence.

Where do you do most of your projects?
Even though the majority of our work is done in the South Texas area, it's not uncommon for us to travel outside the state to design a client's secondary residence or to service our out-of-state clients. 

Why does the film production background of CM offer me something special?
Our production experience, and the resourcefulness that goes along with it, is a key element of CM. Having been active in the Los Angeles and Texas entertainment community for many years, it has allowed us to build a deep supply of resources in the business. With CM's environments being primarily used for viewing film at the highest level possible in a private residence, it's logical that a bit of the "Magic of Hollywood" is also utilized in creating that environment.

What "unique" services does CM offer?
For example, if a client is a huge Tom Cruise or Julie Roberts fan, then we can do something special in the design process. To compliment their particular cinema environment, CM will draw upon its extensive production resources to locate a piece of wardrobe, an unique prop, or piece of film memorabilia which was actually used in one of their films to include in their theater. This level of detail is just one of many "unobtainable" jewels that CM can provide its clients.
